Summary: Week long marine summer camp for elementary and middle school students at the Marine Mammal Center

Details: "Looking for a summer day camp in the San Francisco Bay Area? Located in the Marin Headlands in Sausalito, The Marine Mammal Center’s Camp Sea Quest is a week-long marine science camp designed to give elementary and middle school-age kids the chance to dive into marine science and ocean conservation. Through real science experiments, hands-on learning opportunities and nature-led programming, campers will discover the wonders of marine mammals and learn how we are all connected to the ocean. Campers will enjoy a combination of classroom-based activities, behind-the-scenes experiences, and nature walks around the beautiful Marin Headlands, including Rodeo Beach and Rodeo Lagoon, which many animals call home. Through our culture of creativity, curiosity, and caring, campers will be empowered to positively impact their communities and develop important leadership, team-building, communication and problem-solving skills. There are four week-long sessions that accommodate different age groups from rising 5th-8th grade students. Camp is based at The Marine Mammal Center’s veterinary hospital and education center in the Marin Headlands, minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Extended care is available for campers."
